ANOTHER GREAT TRIP TO WALES
SPRING 2019
Took the M4 to the bridge and then zig zagged through the Brecon Beacons. As usual stunning riding, covered well over 300 miles. All the way up to Dinas Mawddwy at the bottom of Hellfire Pass.
Day 2 we took the pass and over to Lake Vrynwy, then across to Lake Bala. Superb riding and scenery, with no traffic at all. Then up over Snowdonia and down the west coast.
We discovered the canals and the brilliant Pontcysyllte viaduct in Trevor. Well worth a visit and a great walk if you like heights.
Wales never fails to disappoint, finding those hidden pubs and restaurants is always great, the hospitality and a warm welcome awaits every time. Total Miles: 1,075.
